Triangle 10 Cattle Vaccine

For vaccination of healthy cattle as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by BVD Types 1&2, PI3, BRSV and the 5 most common strains of Lepto, including L. hardjo-bovis, prevention of urinary shedding of L. hardjo-bovis in heifers 10 months of age or older, and as an aid in the reduction of disease due to IBR. Vaccinated animals subsequently exposed to L. hardjo-bovis have been shown to clear renal infections within 8 weeks of exposure. Dosage: 5 ml IM or subcut, repeat in 14-28 days. Revaccinate annually or prior to time of stress or exposure. Calves vaccinated under 6 months of age should be revaccinated at 6 months. May be administered to pregnant animals at any stage of gestation. Protect animals from exposure for at least 14 days after last dose. 21 day slaughter withdrawal.
Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. Antidote: Epinephrine.

Description

For vaccination against IBR, BVD Types I and II, PI3, BRSV, and 5 strains of Leptospirosis caused by Leptospira pamona, L. hardjo, L. grippotyphosa, L. canicola, and L. icterohaemorrhagiae, prevention of urinary shedding of L. borgpetersenii serovar hardjo in Heifers 10 months of age and older, and as an aid in the reduction of clinical disease due to IBR. Vaccinated animals subsequently exposed to L. borgpetersenii serovar hardjo have been shown to clear renal infections within 8 weeks of exposure. Give 5 ml SQ or IM. Repeat in 2-4 weeks. Calves vaccinated before 6 months of age should be revaccinated at 6 months of age. Annual booster is recommended. Safe for pregnant cows.

For the vaccination of healthy cattle as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVD) types 1 & 2, parainfluenza 3 (PI3), bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV), Leptospira pomona, L. hardjo, L. grippotyphosa, L. canicola, and L. icterohaemorrhagiae, and as an aid in the reduction of clinical disease due to infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR).

Composition

Contains IBR, BVD types 1 and 2, PI3, and BRSV killed viruses, Leptospira organisms listed above, with neomycin, polymyxin B, and thimerosal as preservatives. Contains the Enhance™ dual adjuvant system. Immune-Guard® inactivant and process are used to kill the viral components.

Administration and dosage:

 Inject one 5 mL dose intramuscularly or subcutaneously using aseptic technique. Repeat in 14 to 28 days. A 5 mL booster dose is recommended annually or prior to time of stress or exposure. Calves vaccinated under 6 months of age should be revaccinated at 6 months. May be administered to pregnant animals at any stage of gestation. Protect animals from exposure for at least 14 days after the last dose of vaccine.
